An update

So, it has been 64 days since I last updated this blog. Been having summer fun, and by this I mean sleeping till 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Schools back but I decided to update my blog on all the few thing I did over summer and previously.

152. Graduate from MYP.
On June 21st, I graduated from the Middle Years Program. For those who don't know what this is, it is Year 7 through Year 10 of the International Baccalaureate System. It is a very hard course but very fulfilling. For those who do IB, you understand what I mean. Only got 2 more years left now! Woop Woop :D

117. Take photo's in a photo booth.
My sister an I were in Reading doing some shopping along with our dad and I saw a photo booth so I insisted we go in.

1. Go on an all day shopping spree.
As sad as it is, this did not only occur once during summer, but several times. We would set of late afternoon and go back home in the evening. Did a lot of shopping this summer.

107. Read 'Perks of Being a Wallflower'.
Absolutely brill book. Read it in a couple of days. I just loved it. If you have not read this book, then I suggest you do so, like now.

169. Babysit.
My sister and I babysat for my cousin over the summer because she wanted to go see her toher child's graduation from 1st grade. We only watched him for a couple of hours, but I count it still.

182. Try Ben & Jerry's ice-cream.
AMAZEBALLS! I had the Chocolate Fudge Brownie one. It was sickly sweet, just the way I like it.

189. Complete the PADI course.
This I only did this last Saturday. We went deep sea diving 18m deep and saw sharks. It was so amazing. Plus, I passed my test :D I am now a certified diver.

192. One week without Facebook.
Some of you are probably wondering why on earth someone would want this to be something to do on their bucket list, but I just mainly wanted to see if I could actually do it. And I did. Mainly because the Wifi wasn't working, but I could have just gone on my phone, but I had restraint :)

17. Get a whole new wardrobe.
Sooo, I did a lot of shopping this year. I probably bought more clothes than there was previously in my closet. :P

74. Start collecting something random.
I kinda couldn't decide what to collect at first so I ended up collecting two things; bouncy balls and key rings. I initially wanted to collect sugar sachets from restaurants, but I decided against it.

176. Buy the perfect bikini.
I found it in Accessorise and I absolutely love it. Haven't worn it yet, but I love it. It suits by body type really well.

# 148 Buy a really nice dress that I love.

My dad bought me this dress for prom and I absolutely love it.

#140 Go, Go Carting

I actually did this one a while ago but never wrote a post about it. My dad, sister and I went to the track. We drove a couple of practice laps and then we raced. I came 3rd :( I'm only 15, leave me alone. It was a lot of fun though.

#185 Get 300 followers on tumblr.

Yay! Another 100 followers. I definitely had to be more proactive about this item. I was looking for loads of new blogs to follow and found some amazing ones. And I really do think that 12,862 posts is tad bit too much seeing as though I have only had my tumblr for 7 months. I am literally addicted and I should have more self-control, especially because I have exams starting this monday, but I am such a procrastinator.

Anyway, another item crossed off the list. :)
16 down and another 178 left to go and only 8 months left in the year. eek :O

Have a nice day
Love, Sarah :)

#147 Participate in a Charity Event

I'm in a club called CanCare and we try to raise money for different health realted foundations in our community. A couple of weeks ago, we organised an even called "Runway to Relief". Two fashion designers from Nairobi came down to showcase their designs. We then had an after party were a widely known DJ, Barney Barrows came. It was an amazing night and I got the chance to actually model some of the clothes. In the end, we made over 200,000 KSH, which is just over £1,500 pounds or $2,400. All the money is going to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation and I am so proud of our accomplishments because I know that the money is going to make a big difference for so many children :)

This was at the after party.

Really did not like this outfit, but we did not got to choose really.
